Exclamation mark
The exclamation mark ends an exclamatory sentence and indicates an impression such as anger, surprise, admiration, amazement etc.
Long live the king !
Don't go there!
Don't go there!
We often use the exclamation mark in a sentence in the imperative although this is not obligatory and a simple point is also completely correct.
Clean up your room !
Do your homework !
Do your homework !
We add a space before and after the exclamation mark.
Note that in typography, a space is a feminine word.
When the exclamation mark is used for an interjection (like heck, bravo, ouch for example), you must not capitalize the word that follows it.
Damn ! I forgot my watch.
Well done ! you succeed.
Well done ! you succeed.
